Brief recap of 2011.

Had been a wonderful year that I could have never asked for, really blessed to be pink to be able to bum around having all the time and freedom and doing what I love with bliss. There are sure people walking in to or leaving in life, but I’m glad there are still couple of special ones that I hold on dearly. Life would never near perfect without them. The family had more love than ever, with more dinner gatherings and catching up. The big holiday of the year, Seoul searching with the usual suspects has never been a disappointment (or maybe it’s just the place that do). I shall blog on this later, since i even have yet to organize the photographs after returning for two weeks. Feeling fatigue still from the trip BUT, it was all worth while because I’d finally see the snow like after twenty-five years living in this mother earth. PURE EXCITEMENT!

THEN, after twenty odd years, I gathered all my courage, nerves, braincells, hairs to get my EARS PIERCED! I know it’s not a big deal to some but it was no less a scary shat for me. And I swear piercing is no joke painless. SO GLAD my girls asked me along, if not, I will never ever do it ! Now, I can buy whatever whichever earrings I want!! Say goodbye to ‘Just taking a look’.

Okay that’s about 2011, I shan’t bore you with more you can always dig into the archive !

Coming 2012, here some of the usual resolutions (not that id actually keep close to, but I’ll try),

1) doing a minor revamp to the house, hopefully all done by this year.
2) overseas trip with the family, been a good no. Of years
3) still wanting to explore new places, if my pocket allows for bigger dreams like to the States
4) save! In order to sustain 3) and my ten years plan as of this year. Don’t ever laugh or make fun of one’s dream. You’d not want others to do that to you too.
5) find a husband. ha! don’t worry, your dear friend here won’t just find a guy and get hitched (at least not this year) I’m saying, the husband material. Someone that can be a boyfriend, a soulmate then the ultimate husband. I’m a lil greedy here but no less than that. THEN, it would be an adventure and a new chapter in life. Not getting desperate here, close friends would know I’m at the least anxious. Till to the point, I said something like ‘I should get worried over not worrying at all.’ I take no hurry, he shall be mine if we meant to be.
6) less beer, more champagne. I’d the most amount of beer in 2011 for goodness which I’m still figuring out since when and how did it happened but anyhow that was the past. Since I’m wasting bits of carbs, money and life on these, it would be sensible to do it the RIGHT way. The premium bubbles definitely worth every moment like this.

We stopped by Haw Par Villa Station. If my memory never fail me, the last visit was way back to primary school days. Geeez!

And the only memory left, was this huge dragon at the entrance and the boat ride through the ‘十八层地狱’ which now, all gone.

Next off to Botanic Gardens, I had an hour or so of walk, from one end to the other. Great workout no less.

Now, every time someone asked for drinks, “alcoholic” appears right away.

Awesome live band. Summer Ale. Pretty good carbonara that i’d unexpectedly craving for, not the usual creamy ones. Bingo games with the two lucky winners from our table!

Been considering getting a good compact and light-weight camera that produces solid pictures TOO! I’m a weak. I need to reduce the amount of stuff carried on the shoulder and thats also the reason why I sold my previous camera. After much consideration, I got my hands on this new love, GF3!

It’s so much lighter and bag-friendly. Most importantly, it captures quality pictures. With interchangeable lens, a semi-DSLR and I thought it’s one of the best among the other brands in term of quality, function ability, grip etc after trying them. I got it at a very good deal after sourcing around, and the best part was, I saved another a good eighty bucks with much thanks to the capita land card promo. Really love the card heaps it has so much good deals and promo!
